Several sources have confirmed that Liverpool youngster has agreed to a summer move to Bayer Leverkusen.
Richard Hughes has taken charge of rebuilding the Merseyside squad ahead of the commencement of the 2025-26 season.
The Reds have completed several exciting transfers, which have added the much-needed quality and calibre to Arne Slot’s team.
Bayer Leverkusen have been the favourite destination for LFC and other clubs as well this summer, as the Anfield giants completed the signing of their two top talents, Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz.
But this time, the German club has poached a top talent from Liverpool, who looks positive to join the former Bundesliga champions this summer.

The Bundesliga side has recently lost two defenders this summer, with Jonathan Tah parting ways with the club to join Bayern Munich and Odilon Kossounou joining Atalanta due to a buy-back clause after a season-long loan at the Italian club.
Bayer Leverkusen are in desperate need of signing a defender and they have identified Liverpool academy graduate Jarell Quansah as their target.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein, the youngster has verbally agreed on personal terms with Frimpong and Wirtz’s former club.
Although no official bid has yet been made to the Reds, the deal might go upwards of £30 million with add-ons.
If this deal gets done, the young LFC defender would be the record fee transfer for the German club, whose highest-paid deal to date is Kerem Demirbay’s £27.1 million signing from Hoffenheim in 2019.
Quansah broke into the senior Merseyside squad in August 2023 and was enjoying regular gametime in the 2023-24 season under Jurgen Klopp due to Ibrahima Konate’s prolonged injury.
However, under Slot, the 22-year-old saw his play time reduce as he accumulated a total of 1290 minutes in 25 appearances across all competitions.
The youngster averaged 0.8 tackles, 0.6 interceptions and 2.5 interceptions during his time on the pitch (stats via WhoScored).
Joining Bayer Leverkusen would definitely provide Jarell Quansah with the necessary game time for his development, but should Liverpool sell him or keep him for themselves?
